Safety First
Your child's health and safety is our top priority. Your little one is in the hands of experienced professionals who are deeply committed to their well-being. Your child's safety and happiness are our primary concerns, and we continually strive to set the standard for excellence in childcare.
We follow rigorous protocols in every classroom, including our active toddler daycare rooms, to ensure a clean and sanitized environment. Our classrooms, from our infant care rooms to our preschool spaces, are equipped with child-friendly, non-toxic materials, and we employ strict hygiene practices to minimize the spread of germs.
Arriving at School
Arrival and departure are very important transitional periods in a childcare setting for both families and staff
members. They serve as the beginning and conclusion of a productive day in childcare for young children.
Arrival enables caregivers to connect with the parent/guardian as well as child and provide emotional support to children who are finding it difficult to leave their family member(s). Additionally, arrival time is a perfect time for the caregiver to conduct a health and wellness check of the child. Likewise, departures should be smooth and pleasant ensuring children have the assurance that their friends and teachers will be here when they return the next day.
Uniform
Uniforms are mandatory and are available for purchase with the Academy's uniform provider TBA at a designated time, prior to school opening (...typically about four to eight weeks). Announcements will be posted on our website or parents can call the Academy for further instruction.
Holidays & Absence
Our Preschool and Pre-K programs typically follow standard holiday closures and require notification for absences by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the absence. For our holiday procedures (major closures), The Davis Academy generally closes for federal holidays, Thanksgiving break, a mid-winter break (late December through New Year's Day), and spring break, often aligning with local K-12 school districts.
Schools Meals
We look forward to partnering with Maschio’s in facilitating our school breakfast/lunch program. While Maschio’s operates primarily as a K-12 food service management provider, they extend their meal programs to younger age groups in locations where they are contracted.

Whether you need before-school care, after-school care or both, The Davis Academy is here to work around your schedule! Before & After School Teachers help children with homework, hands-on enrichment activities and more.
